Love Local Food

The Love Local Food blog .. the latest!

Uchiki Kuri Flatbread

It might be wet and windy ... proper Autumnal in fact! ... however great things are happening at West Town Farm with Organic Arts and Love Local Food The image is of some spelt flour flatbread with a baked Uchiki Kuri squash filling. This was made as part of a project with Royal Albert Memorial Museum and The Carousel Project with families exploring archeology!
Then over these two weeks we have 12 classes from Redhills Primary and Wynstream Primary exploring seasonal farm life and apple pressing. That's over 350 children! All good stuff!
